About Our Work in Media:

TPRH is pursuing research and projects to address issues related to transparency of government information and the public right of access to government information on the one had, and the privacy risks presented by such access on the other. Our work in Media focuses on understanding the balance between protecting personal privacy and respecting the right of access to information maintained by the government. The scope of our work includes research and advocacy on open data, specific legislation, such as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), data ownership, and transparency.
